Would you look at that! The blossoms are coming out and we are exciting to get another blueberry season underway! Just a few more weeks and we will be seeing the little green berries!
We picked up the blueberry plants today! We already called and messaged those that have pre-ordered plants but there are plenty of plants to go around!

Getting bigger every week, these blueberries will be great this year.
The bees are a very important part of the fields success, without them no berries!
To help the plants during the summer we put mulch around the base of the plants.
Come visit us at the local Cadillac Farmers Market during the picking season.
In 1 1/2 hours we were able to pick 10 full buckets for the Cadillac Farmers Market.
We are mulching the entire field this summer!!! It's hard work but it looks and smells incredible afterwards; plus blueberries love mulch!

It looks like we will have a good crop of Raspberries next year! They are huge and very sweet!
Meanwhile in the blueberry farm; we are getting ready for the snow and putting up a new fence around the perimeter.
